Find your match

Register to find a coaching partner. The match will be based on the preferences as indicated by coach and coachee, regarding professional background and personal interests. The coachee will initiate the first contact.

Plan your meetings

Together you will plan your first meeting. This can be anything from an e-mail, to a Skype or phone call, a face-to-face meeting or lunch. The way you meet is completely up to you.

Share experiences

By sharing different perspectives both coach and coachee might gain new insights and ideas. Share your questions, thoughts and experiences and expand your knowledge and network.

Note, this is not LinkedIn, only connect if you want the alumnus to become your coach. We advice you to approach a maximum of 3 coaches to spread your chances.

First experiences

Ria Sijabat

Ria Sijabat, coachee

“I was considering doing either a PhD or working for a company after my graduation. I found a coach with experience in both. He supported me in figuring out what   I want to do, instead of focusing on what others think I’m good at.”

Ard Koeken

Ard Koeken, coach

"I joined the Alumni Coach Network because I still feel connected to TU/e. Besides that it is a nice opportunity to develop my coaching skills. I really feel I was able to help the students I have coached recently.”

Bart Hendriks

Bart Hendriks, coachee

“I needed some help choosing courses that would fit my future career. My coach is also a chemical engineer. We discussed topics such as: expectations, tasks and the differences between companies.”
